- Where do our freedoms come from?
I believe our Freedoms come from GOD.
2. Pluralism was important to the founding fathers as they set up our system of government. What role do you see for pluralism today and how will it impact your public service?
I think when Pluralism is working it is best for our country. I believe we have been and are currently in the Elitism theory. The reason being how many “non elite” status people are in elected office? If we were truly in a Pluralist society we would not be governed by the “elite class” which governs us now. How does a politicians net worth grow so much when doing government work? This is a problem in our country. I would like to make a change being a “non-elite” candidate who’s only goal is to put America First in all decisions. I feel if America is put first that places the American Citizens first and I believe that is what a county is supposed to do.
3. Do you believe making and passing new legislation is what makes you a good legislator? Why or Why not. I do not.
My reasoning is because adding more and more laws I believe makes us less and less free. A question I like to ask is, are we free in America? Does the government gather all your electronic data? So, are you free from unlawful search and seizure since your data has been seized? Is not the government seizing your electronic data then at a future time they can write a search warrant and read your data from years and years ago which they should have to access to? Our laws need to be gone through and written at the literacy rate of the United States. How are you supposed to govern if the people you govern cannot understand the law? Does the government provide attorneys to everyone in the United States to explain the laws they pass? Why? Or why not write them so everyone can understand them? We all know the reasons. Is the constitution easy understood? Why was that?
4. What have you done to ensure that you understand the U.S. Constitution and how to support it as a legislator?
I have read the US Constitution, and I will continue to read and understand it. I would like to take more in-depth classes on this topic for I feel it needs to be one of the biggest items thought in our schools. Why was Article 1 section 3 in the constitution changed in the 17th Amendment? I believe in States rights which this ensured with Senators. I feel this was done to limit those rights. My stance is the 17th Amendment should be removed since it modified Article 1 section 3.
5. What do you believe a legislator can do to reverse the overspending of the Federal Government?
As a member of the House of Representatives you hold the purse strings of the government. Therefore, all spending no matter what party is in office, rest squarely on the shoulders of Congress. My votes will be NO to bigger government. I believe in our Military and would fully fund the Military who needs to pass an audit.
6. Describe the process in which legislation is introduced to amend an existing law. What might cause your bill to never get read on the House Floor?
A bill is introduced and assigned to a committee; the bill is then put to a vote before that chamber. If the bill passes one part of Congress it will go to the other body where they will go through a similar process. Once the bill is accepted by both bodies’ negotiations begin until both bodies agree on the same language in the bill. Both bodies vote on the same version of the bill. If it passes it moves to the President. The President can sign the bill into law or veto it. If the law is vetoed Congress can vote to override it.
If the bill does not make it out of committee or if the speaker chooses to bring it to the floor.
7. Tell me about a time that you gained support for a change(s) you wanted to make when the odds were against you.
When I was the Police association representative the Police Department was implementing a milage policy. If you lived 3 miles away from the police station, they wanted to charge a milage fee for every mile over 3, to take you police car home. This was because they wanted to encourage Police officers to live inside the city. I went from the police station to the farthest edge of the city which if I can remember correctly was 10 miles. I spoke to the Leadership of the Police Department. My argument was police lived inside the city boundaries at 10 miles away they would still have to pay a milage fee. Anyone who lived outside the city boundaries should pay a milage fee. I provided evidence such as the boundaries and numbers of how many of the officers would be affected by this policy. My recommendation was accepted and implemented.
8. Name all of the forms of compensation given to members of the U.S. Congress other than a salary. Should each of these be allowed to continue or be eliminated and why?
Members Representational Allowance (supporting personnel, office expenses, travel to district and mail for members of the house) This entire thing needs to be re-evaluated and it is the direct example of bloated government. I feel this is an example of our bloated government. The 2023 and 2024 budget for this line item is and was 810 million dollars. For every member of the house that is just over 1.8 million dollars annually.
So, taxpayers pay 885 million dollars a year just to have the house of representatives in operation (this includes 75 million in Elected individual’s salaries). I am sure there are more hidden expenses. Congressional Salaries and Allowances: In Brief
9. Name 3 ways in which legislation picks winners and losers.
There seems to always be something behind all legislation on how it will benefit the writer or writers of the legislation.
I think if you are going to give out subsidies, tax credits or taxpayer-funded grants to businesses those need to be in the form of a loan with a caveat of having insurance to cover the loaned amount in case of failure to pay back to loan or collateral to receive the loan. I do not believe government should be in the loan business but if we are going to then we should make sure to get paid back.

5 Times the Government's Corporate Kickbacks Failed (reason.com)
I feel a review of government incentives needs to be done to determine if this creates an unequal playing field for job creators as well as if it is good or poor economic policy. Winners and Losers: The Impact of Government Incentives | MacIver Institute
10. How have you prepared yourself to consider the unintended consequences of legislation?
I am a sinner and I believe in Jesus Christ, so for me if I make a mistake, I will own it. I hope not to make very many mistakes but I am human.
11. Do you fully support the Republican Platform? Yes PDF File (gop.com)
A. If there are parts that you don’t support, what are they and why not?
B. If there are parts that you do support, but wish was different, what are they and how would you propose they be changed?
Rights of people (constitutional rights)- Who has been held accountable for the violation of our 1st amendment rights during COVID. Government agencies wrote policies to enforce their actions along with coerce private business to censor citizens free speech and not allow citizens to gather at church. Those policies do not override our constitutional rights.
Limited Government- What have Republicans in Congress done to accomplish this? Approve 87k IRS agents among other big government spending, sounds very limited.
12. Do you think social media companies should be able to use our information for their benefit?
Absolutely not.
13. What does taxing the rich mean to you?
It is a slogan to divide us.
14. Explain the difference between deficit spending and a balanced budget.
Balanced budget spending is when revenue equals spending.
Deficit spending is when spending exceeds the revenue.
15. Do you believe in secure national borders? If not, Why?
Yes
15b. Will you vote against any bill that will provide governmental aid (of any kind) to illegal
aliens?
YES
15c. Will you vote for any bill which will deport illegal aliens when they are caught? If not, why?
YES
15d. Will you vote to stop all funding to sanctuary cities? If not, why?
YES
16. Hertz Car Rental just removed from its fleet their entire line of all electric vehicles claiming the maintenance cost were excessive. Will you fight Biden’s program to require all new vehicles be electric? If not, why?
YES
17. When I attended college and law school I had to pay for my own education. Do you support canceling all student loans? If yes, why?
NO
18. Looking at our debt do you support continuing financial support to Ukraine? Israel? Palestine? Other foreign countries? Explain your position.
Washington DC has a spending problem and it will not be solved until America First candidates take over the house. My stance is any funds that is not for the United States of America should be given in a loan status. No President either party should be able to wave the loan off, it should have to go through the same process having the House, Senate and President sign off on it.
19. What is your plan to preserve our freedom as ranchers and farmers?
I feel farmers are part of our national security so anything to help promote and grow farming in America I am for. I am America First so I feel that States should not ask for sales tax from farmers if they sale in state. I feel if an in-state grocery store purchases local produce the store should be exempt from sales tax on those specific items. This would be a case of legislation of winners and losers because I feel that the government has been against farming for decades and has tried to take farms. As I believe Farming is a National Security issue, I feel the government needs to uphold a quality standard but ease taxation / restrictions on farming and reward those who choose the life of a farmer. I feel no foreign Country should be able own land in the United States. I feel you should be a citizen of the United States to own land in the United States.
20. What is your plan to return land owned by the Federal Government to the State?
I believe in States rights. I would support and do everything in my power to get the Federal Government to turn over all federal land (not federal national parks) back to the states. This is a major uphill battle because it is the Federal Government and they appear in my eyes to want total control of everything we do and say.
